HOW WE MET
We are feeling super pumped about this couple!! Some would call ours an unexpected match. We met online – at a time when we both were ready to take a break from dating.

Tom reached out to connect and made it a point to visit me while I was living in a different town at that time.

A few weeks later, thanks to good counsel from close friends, we made it official. We’ve been together since October 2019. Our roora was in April 2022 and our official ceremony was in September 2022.

ADVICE
I wouldn’t really say there’s one piece of advice that fits all. From personal experience, what was key for us was to realise that every wedding journey is different. The most important thing for us was to keep focused on the goal which was ultimately to start building our life together. Weddings are great but it’s the ‘After I Do’ that was key for us.

In addition , we’d spent months preparing for our wedding and even though there were a few hiccups here and there, the key for us was to be fully present and take in our day. We absolutely did that and thoroughly enjoyed it as a result.
