Ronald Mhundwa met Linnet Matonsi some time ago. He was doing some shopping and she was working in the shop, we just spoke in passing then he asked for her number. They started talking from there and became friends. Having been friends they decided to take their friendship to another level and started dating. On the 3rd of december 2022 he proposed and she said yes then lobola happened on the 26th of December 2022 and they tied the knot on the 26th of February 2023.

It All Started At Church

We met on Sunday the 13th of December 2020 at a church event. The following Thursday he reached out through a call [not sure how he got my number] and said He wants to marry me

. As soon as the call ended, I searched his social media, called my best friend and told her to search him up too and we laughed about how he wasnt my type. Chatting and calling over two weeks made me loosen up and before I knew it, we were calling for hours each day. January 16th of 2021 , we started dating. Through ups and downs- one thing that remained clear was that we loved each other and wanted to be together forever . If a man truly loves you, he will honour you, your family and your culture even if it means flying for over 24hours to bring the cows home.

I met Matthew through a friend and honestly it was love at first sight. We spent months talking and one year in, he already knew he wanted to marry me. However, I was determined to get my degree as an Actuary that the thought of marriage never crossed my mind. I had to travel between the US and Canada to complete actuarial internships, and the long distance didn’t make it easy but I guess our love was stronger…🥹

4 years later, I completed my exams as a Certified Actuary and Matthew proposed right after. 💍The man did not waste time haha! He had just completed his Electrical Masters so it was perfect timing!!🙏🏼6months later, his family flew to Zimbabwe and brought the cows home!!💃🏽💃🏽
