Mr and Mrs Chidobera’s Story

We met at MSU 2015 (level 1.1), we were both working on our Bachelor in Accounting Honours Degrees. We shared the same Class, Study group etc lol. Obviously as the guy I proposed first but the door was always closed at a friend zone stage which always annoyed me up to an extend that l had to quit  being the friend and l told her l cant pretend being your friend yet l have an obvious agenda.

To cut the story short l finally won on the 6th of April 2015 around 15:43pm that’s when l received the text. Everything was perfect she loved me for what l had because truly speaking l couldn’t even afford transport money from mkoba 16 to MSU campus where we both learnt. We grew up together, understood each other, study together and became best of friends after all. As time moved our love grew stronger and stronger each day. l had the privilege of dating the most prayerful person l had never met, she was always there for us in bad and good times.

We had our fights but the best part is we always knew how to manage our weaknesses and turning them into our strengths. l proposed to her on the 30th of March 2019. We both graduated on the 12th of July 2019, Lobola was on the 12th of August 2019 and finally our biggest day our wedding was on the 12th of September 2020 a day before her birthday. We just thank God for the guidance and protection it is such a good experience marrying your best friend because it comes with understanding, tolerance and love. #tinochengetwa.

Tanaka and Faith’s Love Story

❤️ 🇿🇼❤️ I met her in summer 2017. We were having our monthly meeting as a car club TeamRunx. She came with her cousin who was part of our club. I stared at her once and my heart told me she was the one.

I was still seeing someone by then. Something about her struck me like lightning and I saw a rainbow. Fast forward, December 6th 2020 I took the cows to her place.

Emunael and Tafadzwa’s Love Story

Emanuel’s version

She smiled at me! She’ll tell you that there was nothing in that smile on that first day but the general friendliness offered to a person standing in front of a whole church talking about how grateful he is to be back home, but it was the sort of smile that moves you and the sort of smile you never forget. It was a special smile and I like to think the fact that we are here 2 years later getting married proves it. I didn’t get to say hello to the pretty girl with the smile that day and I had to wait 7 months before having a real conversation with her. And when the day came, I was so nervous I had to take several deep breaths and play my workout music to prepare myself but alas all of that was not necessary. Getting along with Taf was so easy and so natural like we’d been friends forever. Two years since she smiled at me and that that smile still gives me butterflies but it’s no longer a pretty stranger smiling at me. It’s the gift from God that I wasn’t smart enough to pray for, but not foolish enough to ever stop being grateful for. To everyone she’s Tafadzwa but only I get to say ‘Ndafadzwa!'”

Tafadzwa’s Version

It was a normal Sunday for me in September, 2018. I went to church as usual and during the service, Emunael who had relocated from America, was asked to give a testimony. He spoke about God’s faithfulness in his life and I thought to myself what a wonderful testimony. Two weeks later we spoke for the first time at church, just your basic ‘Hi how are you’ type conversation. Thereafter we did not see each other or talk for several months because I relocated to Pretoria, however, on the 18th of April 2019 he found me on LinkedIn and sent me a messageand from that point on we started talking about life and work, eventually exchanging numbers so we could chat on WhatsAppOn the 27th of April we went to Acro-Branch on our first date. Click here to view our first date . It was quite a fun and adventurous activity and at the same time I started to feel like I had found my hidden best friend. I felt so much peace in my heart I couldn’t help but think ‘Where has he been all my life?’ Whenever I was around Emu or whenever we would talk, I felt so much peace. He was everything I had been praying for, and a whole lot more! God provided so many bonuses when it came to Emu, I couldn’t help but fall in love with him. I’m sure my brother got sick of me talking about Emu all the time.
Exactly one month after that first LinkedIn message, we made our relationship official. Why wait when you know someone is the one and I know in my heart he is the one, and so here we are today. This is the love story that God has written. I cannot imagine my life without Emunael, everything is perfect with him. I give all the glory to God for this perfect plan he has ordained for our lives”

Kuda & Joachim’s Love Story

Our story is very interesting ,a mutual friend introduced us in 2015 and the relationship was long distance till we got married. I would visit and he would also visit a lot, we never felt the emotional distance it was just the physical part🤣🤣..

THE PROPOSAL

Joac finally proposed in July 2019 after we had attended his brother’s memorial service. It was a complete surprise. Guys, imagine coming from “manyaradzo” with no makeup whatsoever he just suggested we pass through antelope park and do lunch. The nyaradzo was in Gweru. So we got there, did our lunch and he suggested we do elephant interaction. We got to the place where the elephants were and he draw something on the ground and the tour guide instructed one of the elephants to pick and give so the elephant handed him back the small box and he knelt down on one knee❤️❤️😭.

In July he came and paid lobola then our wedding was suppose to be in April, Covid happened and we then decided to do it in October.. The fairytale finally took place 🙂
